Recently, the Group has reached in-depth cooperation with the Turkish government and officially participated in the construction of Turkey's National Green Supercomputing Center. As a landmark project under the China-Turkey Digital Silk Road, it will help build a leading zero-carbon computing power hub across Europe, Asia and Africa, and consolidate the foundation for regional digital economy development.
Located in Istanbul, the project serves as Turkey’s national computing power infrastructure and a core digital hub linking Europe, Asia and Africa. Upon completion, it will deliver a double-precision computing power of no less than 80 PFLOPS, which can be flexibly expanded to 120 PFLOPS, making up 70% of the local computing power shortage.
Adhering to green development, the project is powered by a 160MWp solar photovoltaic system and a 60MWh energy storage system. Combined with advanced cold-plate liquid cooling technology, it achieves 100% green power supply and zero-carbon operation with a PUE below 1.1, cutting carbon emissions by over 160,000 tons annually and practicing the global carbon neutrality goals.
The project adopts the world’s first five-in-one operation system integrating supercomputing center, computing power platform, computing power wallet, CDN distribution and token settlement. Its services cover the whole of Turkey and extend to the Middle East, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and North Africa. It is expected to serve more than 3,000 enterprises and over 1 million individual users every year, transforming Turkey from a computing power importer into a regional leader in green computing power and computing finance.
The Group will share proven technologies in supercomputing construction, operation and maintenance as well as new energy to guarantee smooth project implementation. Both sides will further deepen practical cooperation in the digital economy, accelerate Turkey’s digital industrial upgrading, enhance its international competitiveness, and enrich the cooperation achievements of the China-Turkey Digital Silk Road.
